Molly (& anyone else who might be interested):

I attended the Seagle Colony several years ago and found it an extremely
beneficial program. The singers there were talented and at various stages
of their development -- I fell somewhere in the middle, which was good,
because I had the opportunity to learn from my colleagues who were more
experienced. When I was there, it was under different directorship, but I
have been back as a guest since Darren Keith Woods took over. I think he
is wonderful! He runs the Colony like an opera company -- coachings &
rehearsals are posted on the call board the night before, everything is
really well organized. He has an extraordinarily positive attitude and
creates a nice ambience. And the Adirondack setting is gorgeous: I never
saw so many butterflies!
