Hi!
In February of 1996 I decided to become healthy since I had gained a lot of weight over the previous 10 years. I researched (which is what I am good at) diet plans and discovered that a diet plan wouldn't work for me...only a change in life style would.
I have lost, slowly and without any deprivation, a little over 100 pounds since then. I have about 50 yet to go.
Part of my research was fitness and talked about the loss of muscle as we age and, in response to that, I started doing aerobic weight training at home with videos from The Firm. They guarantee visible results within 10 workouts...it only took me 7. They are excellent.
I am able to breathe more deeply and can support my breath longer when I sing now. But I can't tell you if that came from the weight loss, the exercise or simply the confidence that losing weight creates. :-)
