24 - too old? How's that?

If the average student started college at age 18 and took, say, five years
to get through, that would make that student 23 when they were ready to
begin their master's. Many students take a year off, so they begin their
master's when they are 24, just like you. Sounds right on course to me - if
that school isn't supportive, why not find another. There are plenty of
fish in the sea from both ends.
