I just got back from London and because of the holyday I thought I should take the opportunity to visit church - for the good music ( : I'm Jewish and I live in Israel.

Well this was to be my first Christmas ever and I thought I should do this right.
I went to St. Paul's cathedral for the midnight mass !!! It was hilarious, amazing, I felt like I was in heaven!

Well, it's no big secrete that the artistic music as we know it - so called "classical music" , has a deep connection to Christianity. I always knew that about all the classical music that I have always liked.
However, going to st. Paul's on that eve, was a breathtaking experience. I guess the music makes this religion so appealing. I actually felt like staying in that church forever just for the music and the beauty.

Music is truly the best thing in my life, as I started studying in a school for choir singing in Israel this year. As a child I sang in a choir but it took me a while to find the right place to start singing again as an adult.

In my country , the classical music is not as widespread as it is in Europe, or the US for the cultural reasons I guess, but you can still find excellent music.



I just thought I should share that experience with you all, Happy holydays and happy new year!!!
