Here's a fun one - but you'll need some healthy low notes too, ala Madeline
Kahn:

>From "Two by Two" The Golden Ram. It has fun runs that go the distance and
you can easily interpolate your own delightful cadenza. I loved doing that
one. Another Madeline Kahn song from On the 20th Century - My Life is Simply
Great is great cut as an audition piece. It's legit Musical Theatre all over
and then when you get to "Trilby found her voice..." I used to stick in an
"una voce poco fa"-ish cadenza and then continue on with..."she doesn't need
Svengali".

Also, not musical theatre, but would still be a good audition piece I think:
Mecham's Tartuffe has a great vampy aria/song in it -
"Fair Robin" Text is clever:

Fair Robin I love and hourly I die
But not for a lip or a languishing eye
He's fickle and false,
and there we agree...
For I am as false and as fickle as he!

We neither believe what either can say,
And neither believing, we neither betray.
Tis civil to swear and say things, of course,
We meant not the taking for better or worse...

and so on - great fun!.
