Here is some of what I learned in Norway:
"e" at end of word is a schwa "a" like "ah" "g" at the end of words is silent "i" like "ee" "e" like Italian "e" EXCEPT for "jeg" which is pronounced "ya-ee" "y" usually like "ee" "r" rolled but really quickly "u" very rounded like French
Unfortunately, I cannot remember how to pronounce the "ae"!
Usually the accent is on the first syllable. It's bouncy, like Swedish.
