A friend of mine (a wonderful alto) just canceled the first of two Messiah gigs because her mold allergies settled right in her throat and she lost her middle. It really is heartbreaking! You've all given such great suggestions in the past and I've passed them along to her. She's taking Flonase and now the stress has revived her acid reflux, so she's on prescription medicine for that as well.
She's already allergy-proofed her home as best she can, (air purifier, no carpets, good housekeeping) but she's not allergic to dust and it's that damp, humus-y time here in Albany and there's no escaping it.
I was looking on the web for other suggestions when a site selling Allergy Lights came up. These lights are supposed to kill molds using UV and are most commonly used in hospitals.
Is anyone familiar with these and their effect?

Thanks!
