It's the same for all instruments. If you are old enough to ask you are old enough to begin to
learn. Voice is an instrument but it requires more care than most other instruments because if you
break it, it can not be replaced as can another instrument.

So, to prevent breaking, you have to locate a teacher who knows how to teach voice to a young
person; who has had a lot of experience teaching youth. Don't take any other teacher!
