Ernie was asking about the Ravel Don Quichotte. Let me point out a few things.
A) The cycle was written for Baritone (Martial Singher) and the "Moyenne" (medium) keys are original.
2.) The pieces are still under copyright and can only be purchased from Durand (I think) through their American representative. Most US dealers have them, or can get them.
3.) They are only available separately (which I never thought made any sense) and are VERY expensive. (Last time I checked, they were upwards of $10 EACH! That means $30 for a set of three songs that lasts under 10 minutes!)
Nonetheless, they are worth doing and should be part of every baritones repertoire. They are also gorgeously orchestrated, but are heard only occasional on orchestral programs.
