Hi Jason, I don;t know where you live, but at my undergrad music school,
there were lots of practice rooms open all the time on a certain hallway and
all you had to do was go in there and close the door. They had pianos, etc.
and though they were for the voice students, they were never booked and not
monitored (and open really late in the evening too!) so someone like you
could have walked in and used them with no questions asked. Maybe there is
a college nearby you with a similar setup? Ask around and maybe you'll find
just what you need nearby.
